Martyr’s Day (Shaheed Diwas) 23rd March, 2022
Every year 23rd March is observed as “Shaheed Diwas” with great passion and unity across India. The Department of Chemistry, Mewar University, Chittorgarh had organized “Shaheed Diwas” which is celebrated in remembrance of the three revolutionaries of India who were hanged to death by the British namely Bhagat Singh, Shivaram Rajguru and Sukhdev Thapar.
The program started with lamp lightning and kulgeet. In the beginning Dr. Mohammad Ashid, Head Department of Chemistry welcome all the dignitaries, students, and staff members. The students of Department of Chemistry, Mewar University, Chittorgarh who were interested in Speech and event, presented their speech, poem, and the life history of these freedom fighters. It was very interacting speech with a good response from students. After that Prof. Dr. H.S. Chauhan explained the life, personality, struggle and freedom movement of Shaheed Bhagat Singh. The program ended with the vote of thanks given by Mr. Hemraj Singh, AP, Department of Chemistry.
Workshop on Gender Sensitization
A Workshop on “Gender Sensitization” was conducted by Department of Chemistry, Mewar University on 20th May, 2022 (Friday) at Mewar University Campus. This programme was organized for the students & Faculty members of the HEI’s to increase the awareness on gender equity in the society. The keynote speaker for the workshop was “Shri Anandvardhan Shukla Sir”, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Mewar University, Gangrar, Chittorgarh, Rajasthan, India.

Faculty members work as team member in organizing National Integration Camp-2022.
Organizing various events in Uni-Fest:
Faculty members give their full contribution in successful conduction of various events such as Minute to win It, Tug of War, Click-O-Mania, Dancing Star, Singing Star, Cricket etc.
